Event Details

Merch Pickup: Anyone who did not pick up their free Willard sweatshirt will be welcome to grab one from the WFFL from 5-9pm on Monday! Please complete the Welcome + Diversity and Inclusion survey before picking up your merch.

Surviving NU Fireside: Hear from members of Willard Exec on all things Northwestern! We’ll share our best tips and give you a chance to ask us any questions you might have. Taking place in the WFFL at 9pm tomorrow!

Journaling Club: Drop by the WFFL from 7-8pm on Tuesday to journal, read, sketch, or do some homework! Please bring your own writing materials. Sample journaling prompts will be available if you need a little inspiration :)

Pomodoro Studying: Study alongside your fellow Woos in the WFFL! The Pomodoro technique consists of studying for 25 minute sessions, broken up by 5 minute breaks. Give it a try this Wednesday at 6pm!

High Table: Join Woos and Willard Fellows for lunch in Allison from 12-1! Discuss classes, research, pop culture, or anything on your mind. Look out for more details in the Announcements Woochat.

Munchies: This weeks muchies is featuring 5411 Empanadas! There will be vegan and vegetarian options available. Stop by the WFFL at 4pm on Thursday to try some!

Evanston Farmers’ Market: Interested in exploring Evanston’s Farmers’ Market? Looking for some delicious produce or freshly baked pastries? Meet in the WFFL at 9am or 10:30am (we’re taking two groups to accommodate those of us who like to sleep in!) and a member of Willard Exec will lead the way!

Weekly Woo: Wildcat Welcome Edition

Hello and welcome to Willard!

We are so excited to meet you all at move-in tomorrow!

This is the Weekly Woo; an email you’ll get every Sunday with all the details about Willard events for the week. Important Willard announcements and RCB (Residential College Board) news and events will also be in here as well.

Willard Exec has been working hard all summer to prepare for your move-in, and we can’t wait for you to see what we’ve been up to.

But before that, here’s an overview of what move-in day will look like:

Throughout the morning, members of Willard Exec will be around the building to welcome you, answer your questions, and generally assist with any move-in needs.

Once you’ve moved in, don’t forget to check out the WFFL (Willard First Floor Lounge) to collect your free Willard merch! In order to collect your merch, you’ll need to fill out our Welcome + Diversity and Inclusion survey found here.

After move-in and merch pick up, Willard Exec will be hosting a New Student Reception as an introduction to Willard traditions and residential college life. Parents are welcome to attend as well!

That evening, you’ll be free to explore, socialize, and check out all the amazing area programming set up around campus.

Event Details

Tech Tag: Anyone interested in playing will meet up in the WFFL at 9pm so we can all walk over to Tech (the Technological Institute) together.

Chicago Trip: After the football game, we’ll meet in the WFFL and members of Willard Exec will show you to the Metra station. The expected cost of this trip is $5 + the cost of a light dinner. We’ll be back in time for Woovie Night at 9:30! Sign up here!
